The monsoons - through warm, moist south-western winds that bring incessant rains - last from June through October. Highland areas such as Baguio near Manila can have very pleasant temperature throughout the year averaging 8º C. Sea waves, such as Cloud 9, Tuason Point, Majestic, and Cemento, in the sea surrounding the Philippines make it a surfer's paradise. The best time to visit is from September to April.
